Vestibular Neuritis |
Vestibular Neuritis is a disorder characterized by extreme dizziness (vertigo), balance difficulties, nausea and difficulty concentrating. The symptoms are often quite severe and episodes will abruptly strike, lasting several days and causing vomiting. This disorder is caused by inflammation of the vestibular nerve (a nerve that relays information about balance and motion to the brain).
