Refund and Cancellation Policies

Membership Dues

  1. Membership Dues, whether they are paid in full or monthly, are non-fundable.
  2. For members who choose to pay monthly, if your Credit Card on file expires and you do not inform OSLA after a month of expiration, your Membership will automatically be suspended.
  3. A $10 administrative fee is charged to members who purchase the monthly payment plan. This fee will be charged at the initial purchase of the Membership.

 

Event Registrations 

  1. Cancellation Policy:  An administrative fee of $25 will be charged for all cancellations.  For a refund, notice of cancellation must be received 4 weeks prior to the event date.  We regret that refunds cannot be offered after the deadline. After that time, you may elect to receive a credit memo which can be applied to a future OSLA event within one year from the date of issue.  The $25 fee will be deducted from the credit memo.

 

Practitioner Listings

  1. Practitioner Listings are non-fundable. If you choose to cancel your listing before the date of expiry, OSLA will not provide you with a partial refund.

 

Newsletter Ads

  1. Newsletter Ads are non-refundable. If you choose to remove your ad before 2 weeks  has been completed, OSLA will not provide you with a partial refund.

 

Book Orders 

  1. Shipping and Handling costs are non-refundable.
  2. Book Orders are non-refundable.
  3. Please note, OSLA is unable to offer you a partial refund if you provide an OSLA member’s name after your purchase the item. In order to receive the member discount, you must be logged in as a member at the time of purchase.

 

Job Postings 

  1. Career ads for Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs) must guarantee that the position is supervised by a Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist.
  2. We reserve the right to revise, edit or reject any ad if the advertisement, organization, product or service is not compatible with OSLA’s mission, vision, values, philosophy or standards. 
  3. Job postings are non-refundable, once the posting has been approved by OSLA Staff and appears on the OSLA website.
  4. Job postings are active for ONE month from the date of purchase, after which the customer will have to purchase a new posting.
  5. OSLA may make available certain job listings and other job-related contents, including links to third-party websites.
  6. Job Listings are created and provided by third parties over whom OSLA exercises no control; you acknowledge and understand that we have no control over Job Listings.
  7. OSLA does not have any obligation to screen any Job Listing, or to include any Job Listing in its search results or other listings and may exclude or remove any Job Listing from the Site for any or no reason.
