Honours of the Association Award

In an effort to recognize current OSLA members who have made outstanding contributions to the Association and to their profession, OSLA will select a recipient upon whom to confer “Honours of the Association.” Honours of the Association is only conferred once upon an individual. Recipients are nominated by their peers.

Speech-Language Pathologist of the Year Award

An award will be given to a Speech-Language Pathologist based on exemplary performance in any one or a combination of the following criteria:

Leadership:
This member has achieved success in their own career path while leading others around them to achieve greater accomplishments.


Advocacy:
This member has demonstrated a long standing commitment to the profession by increasing awareness of the value of their profession to the public and/or the healthcare community.


Research:
This member has carried out research activities that contribute to the development and or improvement of practice in their respective field.

Audiologist of the Year Award

An award will be given to an Audiologist based on exemplary performance in any one or a combination of the following criteria: 

Leadership: 
This member has achieved success in their own career path while leading others around them to achieve greater accomplishments.


Advocacy: 
This member has demonstrated a long standing commitment to the profession by increasing awareness of the value of their profession to the public and/or the healthcare community.


Research: 
This member has carried out research activities that contribute to the development and or improvement of practice in their respective field.

Student Recognition Award

Promoting the professions of Speech-Language Pathology and audiology and students for their achievements and leadership in concern for the future of the professions.
