The Honours of the Association is conferred upon OSLA members who have made outstanding contributions to the Association and to their respective profession, and who have upheld impeccable professional profiles. Recipients are nominated by their peers.

OSLA Speech-Language Pathologist of the Year Award

An award will be given in each Professional Category based on any one or a combination of the following criteria:

Leadership:
This member has achieved success in their own career path while leading others around them to achieve greater accomplishments.
Advocacy:
This member has demonstrated a long standing commitment to the profession by increasing awareness of the value of their profession to the public and/or the healthcare community.
Research:
This member has carried out research activities that contribute to the development and or improvement of practice in their respective field.

OSLA Audiologist of the Year Award

An award will be given in each Professional Category based on any one or a combination of the following criteria:

Leadership: 
This member has achieved success in their own career path while leading others around them to achieve greater accomplishments.
Advocacy: 
This member has demonstrated a long standing commitment to the profession by increasing awareness of the value of their profession to the public and/or the healthcare community.
Research: 
This member has carried out research activities that contribute to the development and or improvement of practice in their respective field.
