Method of Delivery - This year our course will be offered virtually via our Webex platform on four 3 hour long sessions in October 2020. This is a unique opportunity for you to participate in a collaborative and engaging course from the comfort of your own home!

PrerequisiteYou must be a Speech-Language Pathologist in order to attend this course. Registrants must have completed Clinical Short Course Cognitive-Communication Disorders, Level 1.  All participants receive a Workbook:  Interventions for Cognitive Communication Disorders, and a course certificate.

About the Instructor- Sheila MacDonald is an international speaker and speech-language pathologist with more than 25 years' experience in assessing and treating individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI). Sheila is the author of the Functional Assessment of Verbal Reasoning and Executive Strategies, adult and student versions. She is also the co-author of the Practice Standards for Cognitive-Communication Disorders (CASLPO, 2015) and the book Cognitive-Communication Disorders Following Traumatic Brain Injury: A Practical Guide (2002). Sheila's collaboration, research, and advocacy work has centred on evidenced-based practice, assessment measures, cognitive-communication interventions, concussion and mild brain injury, return to school, and return to work.
